It really depends on which direction you go for the cost of a registered agent. If you’re looking at doing it on your own – like we’ve talked about that can be a cost close to $0 but there are other costs associated to that.
If you’re going to use a New Mexico law firm typically that is less than a national provider but they don’t have the continued support you’d get from a large organization that does this for 1000s of organization.
If you get your LLC formed with Northwest and they include the first year – you typically can get a recurring cost around $125 but I would check with them. There are other services that can be up to $300/year so make sure you’re checking the fine print as you review other services.

One of the biggest steps you’ll need to consider is through the election process of your registered agent. The New Mexico Secretary of State’s office is typically the one that’s going to have the paperwork that you need here.
