When it’s time to think about getting the best registered agent, you’ll need to setup ZenBusiness or Northwest Registered Agent. Typically I recommend going with ZenBusiness because they will make it easy in North Dakota with the 1000s of business owners they help every month. It beats trying to pull off and be your own registered agent in North Dakota.
Can I Be My Own Registered Agent In North Dakota?
Yes you can be your own registered agent but as we’ve talked about – is this something you should do? Do you really want someone to show up at your house with legal papers for your business when you’re with your family or worse – you’re not there for whatever reason and the North Dakota Secretary of State realizes that and your business becomes dissolved. That’s not good either so let’s play this out as if you’re going to be your own registered agent. What would you be responsible for?
